LOPHAMS VILLAGE HALL LOTTERY

Your opportunity to support your Village Hall and have a bit of fun too!

Vice Chairman, Mike Shipperlee, conducts the draw while a member of the Village Hall Committee observes.

The Lophams' Village Hall Management Committee is running a monthly lottery, specifically to help fund improvements to the Hall and its facilities. The draw takes place at the monthly Farmers' Market and there are three cash prizes each month.

Entry is by monthly subscription of £5.00 for 5 chances or multiples thereof with a maximum of 100 entries. Minimum entry age is 18.

If you're not in the lottery but would like to join, please ring Jane Conquest on 01379 688183.

The first prize is 40% of that month's stake money with 2 runner up prizes of 10% of that month's stake money.

5% is reserved for an annual extra draw into which all entries current at the time and which have been held continuously for 6 months or more will be entered.

The remaining 35% will be applied to Village Hall improvement projects.

During the last ten years, over £37,000 has been distributed in prize money and over £19,000 has been contributed to the Village Hall Development Fund. Sincere thanks from the hall management committee to all those who have participated, your support has allowed us to make important improvements to the building and its surroundings, some of which are listed below.

Please remember that our principal purpose is to maintain the fabric of the hall as an attractive venue for the use and benefit of local people and that the proceeds from the Village Hall Lottery are designated entirely for this.

Why not hire the hall for an event of your own? It's there for you to use! Contact details and hire rates are published on this site.

A new clean, airtight container has been placed in the carpark and the old one removed. Importantly the adult gym equipment and children’s play equipment are now installed on the field and being well used. Thank you all for your support which has allowed us to get these things done, however, there is always further work required and your on-going and greatly valued participation is still needed to continue to help the Village Hall.
